Website Update 2008
On 31 January 2008 from Reuver, Netherlands , trackbackI have been using a website traffic counter since one of the first websites I created in 1998. Over the years the company providing the counter has changed its name from Nedstat to Webstats4u to Motigo. The last name change also brought about a change in advertising: the horrible pop-under appeared. Since that really annoyed me in South America and I got complaints from site visitors as well, I decided to remove the counter with almost 10 years of history, and go with Google Analytics from now on.
I also brought my website fully up-to-date with the latest open-source scripts [updated 24 May 2008, 15 July 2008, 18 September 2008 & 15 December 2008]:
- WordPress
2.3.32.5.12.62.6.22.7 - Gallery
2.2.42.2.52.2.62.3 - WPG2
3.0.23.0.7 - Regulus 2.3 (WordPress theme)
- Gallery 2 Google Maps Plugin
0.5.60.5.8

I recently tried upgrading to all the same versions of WP, Gallery, and WPG2. This did not go so smoothly for me. I was wondering if you ran into any snags along the way, too?
Gomer, I did not have any issue upgrading. Can’t help you there. Good luck!
